The 4th...

Over the weekend of the 4th we made trip to Auburn for the wedding of my college roommate and close friend Margaret. She was just as classy and beautiful of a bride as I always imagined she would be!

We enjoyed some quality time with one of our favorite couples...

Walker + Anderson's + cheese dip + margaritas + Laredo's palomino burrito makes me one happy girl!

Sunday morning we headed up to Lake Martin to meet Jennifer & Pat and had a wonderful time.  We enjoyed lake activities reminiscent of our younger years, which Walker & I both paid for dearly in muscle aches when we woke up on Monday morning.

At this point you may be thinking, "Oh sad, everyone knows how to wakeboard but Emily. All she got was a thumbs up picture." While admittedly the worst of the four of us, I actually did make it up for a good 15-20 seconds or so (the picture of proof just turned out a little fuzzy). 

I only wish I had my camera when these two pups hit up the beach for some sand and swimming. Maybe I'll get to document that one some other time. Let's just say Bella made dramatic improvements in her swimming and retrieving abilities and Walker & I were quite proud.
