San Francisco.

(Again, flashback several weeks...)

We love this place. On this particular trip our time here was brief (and cloudy and rainy), but it was the perfect way to end a perfect vacation.
We spent the afternoon along this beach with a wonderful (albeit foggy) view of the Golden Gate Bridge. For the few hours we were there it was cloudy but the rain held off and the temperature was perfect.
For dinner we went to a French restaurant called Curbside Cafe in Pacific Heights. It was charming, delicious, and the perfect way to end our vacation.
A little blurry, but the view from the top of Lombard Street.
Our last night was spent at the historic Andrews Hotel.
For all of the weeks and months of the past 4 years where our busy schedules left us with minimal quality time together, spending 24 hours a day together for 11 days was nothing short of perfect. (I realize I used perfect about 10 times in this post, but no other word adequately captures our feelings for this vacation!) It was the trip of a lifetime (so far), and we are so thankful for the resources and time that made it possible. Thanks Cali, you're #1 in our book and we will certainly be back!
There is much left to catch up on, including Easter at home, a trip to Cincinnati, Med School Prom, and a fabulous trip to the beach with college friends. This April (and thus far May) has been crazy, but so much fun!
